For trips to the USA of 90 days or less, in addition to the valid electronic passport, Portuguese citizens need ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) authorization, requested online. Please contact us if you need support with this authorization.
As of April 2, 2025, Portuguese citizens need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). It must be requested online at least three days before travel and we can help you with the process.

You can book a travel consultation at public hospitals, international vaccination centers or private clinics and must it be booked 4 to 8 weeks prior to the trip.
You can carry aerosols, drinks, toothpaste, creams and gels properly packed in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml and inside a transparent plastic bag with a maximum capacity of 1 litre. These restrictions do not apply to baby food or medicines, for which proof may be required.
You can travel without restrictions until 27 weeks, as long as it is not a high-risk pregnancy. From 28 weeks you must be accompanied by a medical certificate and after 36 weeks you may not be allowed to board.
If the minor travels with only one parent to a destination in the Schengen area, no authorisation is required as long as there is no opposition from the other parent.
